President Jonathan, Modu Sheriff In Closed Door Meeting.

President Goodluck Jonathan and former Borno state Governor, Ali Modu Sherriff, on Monday held a closed door meeting at the Presidential villa in Abuja, Premium times reportAlthough Modu Sheriff who was accused of having involvement with the dreaded boko haram.http://www.naij.com/289176-jonathan-denies-traveling-chad-sheriff.htmlOctober 17, 2014 it was reported that the Nigerian government claimed to have reached a deal with Islamist Boko Haram sect on the ceasefire and the release of more than 200 abducted Chibok schoolgirls.

Meanwhile controversy has continued to trail the ceasefire agreement  the Federal government reached with the extremist Boko Haram sect.

Just as the sect carried out two attacks on communities in Borno State not less than 24 hours after the alleged agreement to ceasefire, thereby raising questions as to how true the cease fire agreement is.o Haram sect refused to give journalists any comment on the reason for the meeting saying: “No time please. I’m going to see the Chief of Staff.”Its been gathered that the meeting may not be unconnected with the ceasefire agreement the Federal government reached with the Islamist group, Boko Haram.

It would be recalled that recently President Jonathan was under criticism over his decision to travel with Modu Sheriff, accused of being one of the Boko Haram sponspor to Chad to discuss with Chadian president, Idriss Deby on Boko Haram related issues.
